What is the best music video?

  1. DogSiDaed profile image60

Hey guys, I wanted to do a hub on the best music videos out there, and chances are I've missed a few, so any you could recommend would be great, and if they are great vids that I didn't know I'll put them in, and credit the sender of course smile

Edit: additionally, how do I embed youtube videos onto the hub? is there some kind of code on Youtube? Never done that before...

just copy and paste the URL into the video capsule. make sure embedding is allowed, it will say in the video ID box where the title is on youtube.

Yes. The video for D.A.N.C.E. is great. My vote is on Aphex Twin - Come to Daddy, Death in Vegas - Dirt, Basement Jaxx - Where's Your Head At, Grizzly Bear - Knife, Yeasayer - Ambling Alp, Of Montreal - Wraith Pinned to Mist and Other Games, pretty much any Bjork video, etc. etc.

I have lots of favorites, but one I go back to often, even though sad, is Brothers in Arms by Dire Straights.

Boy thats a tough one. But if I had to choose I would have to say that A-Ha video back in the 80s really raised the bar for music videos. And I would like to echo the sentiments on that Johnny Cash video "Hurt "

Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins  cool

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEvVIgCm1zg

And Weapon of Choice by Fatboy Slim  cool

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7Ky5R-v … ature=fvst

Click on the Video tab to include a Video capsule while you're making/editing your hub. Insert the URL - you can also just copy/paste the URL of the youtube video that's playing, no need to get the codes for embedding. hope this helps cool

And you have to please every single one who's gonna read your hub! Haha cool

Btw, I answered your query about putting videos in your hub in my previous post cool

          Alright cheers smile

I might end up having to do more than one part, otherwise it'll just get ridiculously long. If I do half of them, then give people a while to look while I do the other half, that should be easier for everyone...
