Songs that say it all

It's happened to all of us - there's that song, with that line in it, that makes us say "Yeah - that's exactly right!  That's just how I feel!"
Which line from a song has done this to you? and what was the event/feeling that made it so relevant to your life?

There is a girl in New York City
Who calls herself the human trampoline
And sometimes when I'm falling, flying
Or tumbling in turmoil I say
Oh, so this is what she means

Hey lynne.  I love the song Mississippi by Bob Dylan remade by the Dixie Chicks (its hard to find Dylan's version)  That says it all for me being that I got stuck in MS for 15 LONG years. YUK

I love the song When You Say Nothing At All. It was originally released by Keith Whitley then later by Alison Krauss. My favorite part of the song is the second verse.

All day long I can hear people talking out loud
But when you hold me near, you drown out the crowd
Old Mr. Webster could never define what’s being said between your heart and mine.

That verse perfectly describes the bond my wife and I share.

Your sentiment is so beautiful.  It reminds me of a Jackson Brown song, Late for the Sky:

Now for me some words come easy
But I know that they don't mean that much
Compared with the things that are said when lovers touch

    Hi I'm NADP's husband. For me it's Dan Fogelburgs " Longer "
I first heard it shortly after we met.It was exactly how I felt about her. A few years later we got married and used this song, sung by one of our dearest friends,  That was over 17 years ago and I still feel Longer,higher,deeper........................
