Remarkably talented, and a true pioneer of many things in the 20th century.
    Thank you, Ms Horne.

How talented, so sad I was born in the wrong ERA but I certainly do know who she is, thougths and prayers to her family.

She must have been something right to make it to 93. She was beautiful and made some beautiful contributions to society.

May she rest in peace. She was indeed an icon of her time.
She will defiantly be missed. I personally thought she was
outstanding. If we could bow our heads in memory of her that    would be appreciated.. sad

Lena Horne was a gutsy lady, the first black performer to sign a long-term contract with a major Hollywood studio.  She also a class act with a lot of talent.  Fortunately, we have her music and movies to remember her by.
