Good Will Hunting is an all time favorite.

Saw "The American" yesterday.  Great movie that will probably do better in Europe than the U.S.

GWH is also one of my favorites, when I see it's on, I'll watch it. the story, the acting can't be beat.

I've never seen or heard of The American. I'll have to look it up.

EDIT:  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1440728/  sounds worth watching. thanks Ron

Last one at home was Avatar...I'm usually not one for big box-office hits, but I did like that one.

Last one at the theater I believe was Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix...yes, it's been a while. Most of the time I'd rather wait for it to come out on Netflix so I can sit at home with a good meal to eat and a husband to cuddle with.

    Eat, Love, Pray.
Good chick flick. Recommend it, despite the formula-type screen writing.
Some really, really good scenes in it.

I really liked "The American".  I don't remember much about the movie, but my mood always improves after taking my wife to see a George Clooney movie.

    Just watched

    Beyond A Reasonable Doubt

    Pretty good movie,

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1183251/

gives it 6/10, as there are some plot errors/people get annoyed at some things.

But all in all I'd recommend it

Love Happens (Anniston and Ekhart) - on DVD

I just thought it was a weighed down, dragged on, subtly draining, movie.  It was alright, I guess; but it wasn't particularly interesting or fun while watching it.  If someone doesn't mind having death the main subject, being bored, and having only a seconds-long happy enough ending - then I'd recommend it.  Otherwise, no.

Resident Evil: Afterlife - movie was so boring that i fell asleep. Really bad experience with it.

    Shutter Island

For those who liked it, I suggest you also watch The Lazarus Project.

Also watched Full Metal Jacket, pretty funny at the start but after Boot Camp it gets a bit boring.
