In recent news, it was not only announce that there would be a film based on a brief period in Alfred Hitchcock's life, where he's at the peak of his career, yet nobody would fund his proposed "Psycho" film.  Therefore, he's forced to have to raise the production money himself.  In the title role is Sir Anthony Hopkins set to play Alfred Hitchcock. What are your thoughts on this?

Hitchcock may have been the greatest director of all time. Can't be a bad thing but would wait for the movie myself.

it'll be interesting to see. i just hope this isn't one of those cheap gimmicks to market off Hitchcock's name, as that would be terrible.  However, i think if it's handled correctly, then Anthony Hopkins should give the man plenty of justice when he portrays him on screen. smile

I'm a Hopkins fan so hopefully all turns out well.

    Certainly enjoyed Hitchcock's films, too.
