I am fan of the late actress myself but I would like to hear a variety of opinions, feel free to be as brutally honest as you want to be.
I think a huge part of it is that she was such a down to earth woman. Everyone could relate to her story of being this small town girl trying to make her dreams come true. She was very much a real life Cinderella.
I think it's terrible that she had to become a victim of political scandal the way she did.
Richard Belzer wrote really good book that kind of parallels the Marilyn Monroe murder while telling a unique and entertaining story.
