I am surprised to find Princess Diana was only 20 when she married, do you think that is too young?

It depends on who you are and where you are in life.  My parents got married when my mom was only 19.  They are still married after 40 years.

Getting married at 20 should only be done by those who truly understand what marriage means. Otherwise, it's foolish. wink

I think it is highly individual. I was married at 20.

My mom was married at 17 and it was a good and loving marriage. Dad died shortly before their 60th anniversary.

I personally think 20 is much too young, but I do see instances where the young marriage worked out, too.

There are many factors to consider both for men and women - physical, emotional and financial capabilities. Women should not bear children until their bodies are ready for it. Most of young marriages end up in divorce although there are successful ones.

I think twenty is too young for marriage both for men and women. They should explore and widen their horizon first.
