Do you agree with the criticism and negative responses expressed by historians on this series ?
A movie is a movie - I don't believe this miniseries was ever touted as a true historical account.
Dozens of books have been written with many assumptions.
Whether print or film, I don't believe everything that is seen or said.
Kennedy turned this country around for civil rights. His speeches are legendary. He continues to motivate us even today.
The family dynamics, the back stories are fascinating but are they real or fabled?
Anything that causes us to pause and remember history is a positive. We must block out the negatives and move on. Life is about choices.
For me, I will forever enjoy the story of the Kennedy Camelot.
I haven't seen any negative reviews or criticisms.
But I LOVED the series.
Would like to buy it.
I thought the acting was fabulous -- Greg Kinnear, Katie Holmes, the guy who played Bobby (sorry, forget his name).
The Kennedy family dynamics are well documented -- what's to object to.
But JFK and RFK were an amazing duo. God only knows where our country would be today had they not been cut down in their prime.
