   hi guys,it's romance from bangladesh. i'm a movie freak and love to watch movies not only in my leisure time but also when it's time to study.well, u know, that little naughty boy who sincerely believes in dodging his studies (does that sound tricky or bullshit???). now i want to know the name of some of the greatest hit, worth watching and awesome psychological movies. i mean movies that deals with psychological aspects of one or more of the characters. u can be sure that "A Beautiful Mind" may be the first choice of millions of watchers worldwide. so, can u refer me to some others like that?????????????

      Movies that deal with psychological aspects of the characters have brought us some of the best films in recent memory. Here's just my paltry list to add, hope it helps.
      
      Fight Club
      Zodiac
      Being There (older movie with Peter Sellers, I believe, but still a real treat)

         it's also a big ole piece of crap!
         
         Almost all of the movies in my 100 Incredible Moves Series are psychological.

   Near all movies that are based on characters are a study
   of psychology. Alfred Hitchcock or try the 'The Shining' (1980) Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall.

   Why not "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"? it is a romance too, so you have both romance and psychological. Starring Jim Carrey. you have been warned!

              sometimes i feel that the person who deals with psychological movies must be a mentally disordered or neatly ordered person.what u think??? u know, what they can think, they can put it in screen. i mean, get the stars to do the job.

   Momento, Vanila sky, Arlington road, sixth sense, i could go on but the list would be endless, like knolyourself said, any film about a character is psychological based. Leon is a good one, the mind of a hitman and a 13 yr old girl who wants to be a hitman (or should that be Hit-person??) and their developing friendship (and in the French Directors cut, almost romance) Very good film, one of, if not the first film with Natalie Portman in it.

    Suppose you might narrow things by psychological subjects. For instance the psychology of salesmanship like 'Tin Men' or 'Glengarry Glen Ross'. A great psychology of psychology is the brittish miniseries
    'the singing detective'. Think it is 6 hours. The more the better in this case.

    According to me, Basic Instinct 1 & 2 are really good psychological thriller movies.
    
    These movies show what happens when the darker side of human nature is uncovered.

    "Proof" is a fantastic stage play, and a pretty darned good movie.  (Especially if you liked "A Beautiful Mind!)
