Rock n' Roll is the greatest ever export from the USA!!!
Yes or no? :-)
I love Rock music, but I feel that Jazz and Blues music gets us more respect. Those two genre's alone have influenced so many other genres (especially Rock music). Plus many people consider jazz America's classical music.
Definitely the influence for Rock n' Roll, especially the Blues
According to an article that I read in this week's (4/10) "Time" magazine, one of America's greatest/latest exports is semen!!!!!
P.S. DON'T ask ME where they get it all. I've already been down that road and have serious issues with my vision, my sanity and my rotator cuff!!!!
Yes, Rock n Roll is America's Greatest Export because, well, because IT ROCK'S!!
Great question.. Fun
It certainly does rocknrollcowboy

Gonna hit you like the Rushmore rock"
ACDC put it well :-)
I would say the different forms of Americana (blues, jazz, folk, etc...)roots music that ended up influencing rock music would be America's greatest exports. But then again I'm from Canada so my perspective could be different.
Absolutely spartacusjones
The influence of the USA on popular music has been immense. I love Blues music too, right back to Robert Johnson and also the great songs of Americana. People like Woody Guthrie, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Earle, Joni Mitchell
I still think Rock n' Roll is King because of the effect it had on youth in America then spread like wildfire all across the world. Nothing can beat that.
Cheers!!!
Ever since the 90's America has owned rock and roll....however to be technical I'd say their greatest export is food aid for Africa:D

Guitar was...

Who's made the greatest rock music? Great Britain or America?
by Mr. Phantasm 8 years ago
I think they're the two greatest bands in history, but only one can be the best. In my opinion, the Beatles were better. They evolved so far in such a short amount of time, and so much of their music paved the way for bands that came years after them. Everyone from Lynyrd Skynyrd...
