Katy Perry Part of Me 3D Concert Film Review
My Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D Movie Review
I took my tween daughter and one of her friends to see the newly released Katy Perry 3D Movie yesterday. This is my review of the Katy Perry Part of Me 3D movie-documentary.
Three thoughts I left with after seeing the 97 minute documentary are: Katy Perry is genuine, she likes to have fun, and she is a smart business person. And she loves candy. Okay, that's four but worth mentioning! The tour's theme is based on her candy-themed franchise with candy-themed decorations, costume styles, props, hair, patterns such as lollipop swirls and candy buttons.

What Is the Katy Perry: Part of Me Movie?
The Katy Perry: Part of Me film is a documentary takes place over the course of Katy's 2011 Part of Me worldwide tour when she experienced great career success and personal sadness.
There are many concerts, fans, team members, family, and friends in the movie as they are a huge part of Katy's life and career.
If you are like me, time seems to go by so fast, that when I read on the screen that the movie takes place during 2011 I thought, well ok, that was only last year.
But as the viewer notes while watching the biopic concert-film, a lot can happen in one year. Especially if you are Katy Perry.
There were nightly 2 hour concerts which were after the Meet and Greets with fans of all ages, traveling to different venues both nationally and worldwide, and traveling to visit with then-husband Russell Brand wherever he was at the time. Imagine, with a schedule like that , how fast time must fly!

Concluding thoughts about Katy Perry: Part of Me Movie
In theaters July 5, 2012
This movie was great! It was a visual delight with all the stage presence, the props used, the dancing and singing of course!
The colors were fun there were pinks, blues, fuschia, reds, whites, and just about all the colors of the rainbow! And bubbles too!
The best part of the movie was seeing Katy Perry. Watching her perform and listening and being entertained by her. She is a genuine person that followed her dream and I for one wish her much continued success!
Thank you for being real!
