Teresa Teng Songs by Sabrina Yuquan Chen
Myth of Lovers (恋人たちの神話)
"Teresa Teng (鄧麗君 or 邓丽君) was an immensely popular and influential Chinese pop singer from Taiwan. Her songs can be heard wherever there are Chinese people. Her voice is recognized throughout east Asia and in areas with large Asian populations. She also enjoyed huge popularity among Japanese, Korean, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Indonesian. She recorded songs not only in her native Mandarin, but also in Japanese, Cantonese, English,Taiwanese, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. She suffered from asthma throughout her life and died in 1995 from a severe respiratory attack while vacationing in Thailand. She was 42."
I have always been Teresa's biggest fan and love to mimic her style. Thanks for the booming of the internet, I'm able to own a singing site of my own: http://yuquanchen.com where I post some Teresa songs I recorded myself at home. I also have a youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/yuquanchen. Some recordings done long ago have low quality, either due to the wrong mic or bad software or sound card. I'd like to post some of my videos here, hopefully I would get some flowers and applause :-)
