Crowe began his career as musician. He then became an Australian actor. He became popular actor and well-known face of Hollywood after tremendous success of his historical epic movie, Gladiator in 2000. He won Oscar Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2001 from this movie (Gladiator).
