There was the time you tried to make food but remembered mom's the household chef but then again you remembered you don't live with mom so you panic and think your going to starve to death... you probably will...
Or the time when the doctor was asking you all the medical questions about yourself and you realized OMG I don't know anything about me mom always did this part and you panic and start naming off things that don't even exist...
And then the time where you couldn't figure out your college homework you went to go ask mom and dad in the living room but wait your parents live states away and the only person in the living room is your weird roommate and he's eating your yogurt..
Or maybe the time you realized that bill collectors are Satan you need your parents expert advise but don't want to bother them and your so broke that ramen is expensive for you and you just burnt your last pack good going...
That horrible time a spider crawled on you and you thought you were surly going to die so you started to call for dad but guess who isn't there yep your probably going to die.....
Ah man the time you got sick you wanted aspirin and chicken noodle soup but you can't afford either of them and you would probably burn the soup if you tried to heat it up...
The time you ripped your dress and mom who is a sewing wizard well she's pretty far away and you don't know the magic of sewing so you either look like a bum on your date or like your really easy darn you sewing wizard.....
And guess who isn't there to magically fix your car looks like you will be walking...
And who could forget the time you heard Satan rummaging through your fridge in the middle of the night if dad was there he could scare him away with his old rifle but nope Satan's eating your burnt ramen as we speak...
But last of all I don't think there's ever been a time when I didn't need my parents your parents are a little bit of everything and being so far away from them can be lonely but remember they are a call away and sometimes they even need you. :)
