And I thought I've run out of ideas on what I can do with the brats in the house! These are great! Thanks sharing :D

Footballs are for kicking, not throwing. Hence the name 'Football'. I sold my kids to some eastern europeans who said they would be well 'Loved' whatever that means. The problem now is I have no-one to sweep the chimney and scrub the floors.

enjoyed it very nice. they also like it if you are skilled at drawing. don't do it too well because then they always ask you for another one & another.

Shawna - I enjoy snuggle too its got to be tops although laughing is always tops too.

Cris - After being stuck in the house for over 3 weeks because of snow I had to come up with some crazy things to keep my sanity.

NDBEES - Lol!! Yeah here in the states our football is oval not round and we call your football soccer we are just crazy like that. But that gives me another idea which is kicking the soccer ball (football) around.

ocbill - Yeah once you show your kids something you can draw well they do come back often for more and more. So I agree you do have to be careful.

Thanks everyone for the comments. !!

LOL. I like the fact you mentioned the football and not that I'd sold my kids to some unscrupulous sorts.

NDBEES - LOL!! I am a mom of three kids so the unscrupulous ideas are not new to me. I did after all write a hub about being a bad mommy. lol.... That does speak volumes about how things like that dont phase me anymore.

Princess thanks for your comments. I also had to remind myself. I think it helps if you ask your children too because they have the greatest ideas and can really help to come up with some fun things to do. Kids help to open up your mind which is truly special.

I like to wrestle with mine and play dinosaur as I chase them around the house like a T-Rex. I also like training them to get my beer and to get my slippers, things that will be handy for me and great concepts of work for them.

Goldentoad - That is so sweet, the dinosaur part.  My kids wrestle more with their dad they actually call it "go time" where they all attack him at once and try to take him down.  They love it and I am sure my husband does too. As for the gophers in training we already have that started!! lol.

yes, T-Mom, they may not like their jobs, but somehow they got to learn to pull their part, I just got to get them to know the difference between a beer and a soda!

You should see my son, two years old as he comes from his bedroom in slow motion with his paws up like an old Godzilla movie, going rraawwgrg, raawwwgrgrg, then I get up and give a roar that makes the dogs jump up and go crazy, then its all chaos all women and children must run for cover!

Ok now that is totally precious and hilarious!! I can just imagine him coming after you in slow motion!! I am sure they will learn the difference soon give it time.

Awww I sure miss the little ones...something else that is fun and I think ? you missed is playing instruments. You can even make some fun ones...Like tamboreens out of paperplates...2 of them with holes punched in the same place and they can weave a long shoelace in and out of the holes and you put beans inside to rattle. They can first color and decorate the plates.

Great ideas my sweet little mama...you are so fun...God Bless...G-Ma :o) Hugs & Peace

Triplet Mom profile image

Triplet Mom 7 years ago from West Coast Author

GMa - Great idea!! I actually did something like that when they were little until the plates broke but it was fun. My mother actually gave my kids my old trombone so I have been hearing a great deal of "music" from them. You have some really great ideas!! Thank you.

Triplet Mom - what great ideas! I was fortunate to do a lot of that with my daughter - but now that she's nearly seventeen, I do so miss those baby days! Your kids sure are lucky!

Shalini, thank you so much. I am sure your daughter is truly appreciative of the time you spent with her and that will carry through when she has children.

Great ideas Triplet Mom - thanks! I still enjoy snuggling with mine (when they let me) even though two of them are bigger than me now.

Oh Caspar that is so sweet. I hope my kids still want to snuggle when they are bigger than me. Thanks for the comments.

I like to get down on my knees and listen to the little ones face to face. They really enjoy being heard in this way, and I can see all those wonderful expressions clearly without looking down on their faces and them needing to look up..

Triplet Mom profile image

Triplet Mom 7 years ago from West Coast Author

earnestshub - That is simply beautiful nothing like being on the same level as your children. Looking them in the face and sharing with them is truly special.

G'day Triplet Mom this one is strictly for the grandparents. Like G-Ma J you teach em how to play an instrument:-- THE DRUMS. You point them at the pots and pans cupboard fit em out with wooden spoons and see how much noise they can make. All the pots and pans on the floor upside down.

Now here is the good part . You send em home to their parents to show their new talents!!!!.

Sweet revenge. LOL.

Triplet Mom profile image

Triplet Mom 7 years ago from West Coast Author

agvulpes - lol you obviously know my mother all too well. She has done that and more. Giving my kid musical instruments like my trombone to play all the time here at my house instead of at hers. Its so evil but you are correct sweet revenge!
