As Kids of the Kingdom.

In becoming a child of God, there is a blessedness that many do not even begin to embark upon. The fact that we have the promise of Heaven when it comes to being saved, is not the only thing you get when you say a little prayer excepting Jesus into you heart. When it comes to Christianity there is so much more to be experienced in coming to Christ. Now when someone receives Christ they are also received into the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God can be found with in the believer. You get the King of Kings Jesus Christ to come into your heart and make His abode in you. You are His Temple. Along with the King you get the Kingdom.

With maturity, you will come to an understanding of who your Father in Heaven is and who Jesus Christ the son of God is in you. Upon coming to know Jesus as Lord the believer begins to enter into their identity as a child of God.

As a child of God there is more to your identity than showing up on Sundays and even a Wednesday night here and there. There becomes an aspect of who you are in relationship to your Father that you begin to experience the Kingdom. As a believer when you walk with God, He begins to reveal things to you that the world can not even begin to comprehend, and just flat out don't make sense to them. As you grow and become more mature and are able to handle more, God begins to show you what it means to be His child as well as the perks of being His if you will. What it is I am talking about is Spiritual Gifts, miracles, people being Healed, and so much more. Most important is having God in your life and fellowship with Him.

There are many things that the Father wants to bless us with, such as the Keys to the kingdom. Which gives you access to the spiritual life involved in being a child of the King.

Scripture says it like this."“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." Luke 12:32 and "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”Mathew 16:19

There is so much yet to be discovered in being a child of God. Seek God.

" He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." 1 John 4:8

"Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts , but especially that you may prophesy." 1 Corinthians 14:1

" But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." Mathew 6:33
