Random Thoughts November 2009

Random Thoughts

It’s been far too long since I’ve sat down and written a hub, so here goes…

This year has sure gone by quickly and I can’t believe that November is already upon us.  Didn’t it seem like it was just New Year’s?  As with all years, there have been trials and tribulations, joys and blessings.  I’d have to say the saddest event of the year was the day my brother Art died.  He was only 61 and left this earth far too early.  I love him and miss him.  May he rest in peace.

My niece had a beautiful baby girl this year.  Lots to celebrate there.

We had the pleasure of a visit from my eldest sister and her husband while they were on vacation, as well as spending time with one of my brothers.  I don’t get to see him often, so it was a real treat to be able to spend a good amount of time with him.  The kids had a great time as well and lots of memories were made.

We celebrated our granddaughter’s first birthday.  It was a really special event and fun was had by all.  She sure is a cutie, and I being nanna am not prejudiced at all.

Two of our little ones now attend school.  One is in kindergarten and the other is in a special early education program.  They sure are growing, and doing well.  Our house is still pretty lively with four little ones, the five year old being the oldest.

Halloween was lots of fun.  Kids had a great time trick or treating and are really good at sneaking in to the treats.

Guess that’s all for today.  There is still lots of 2009 left and I’m sure with it, there will be lots more smiles and joys and a few more tears.  Enjoy what is rest of the year and try to take some time to reflect on your blessings.

Thanks for sharing - I can't believe there is only 2 months of the year left - we have been truly blessed in our family this year.
