I have five kids. The first two are 2 years apart and we were hoping to have another two with the same spacing. However, I had some miscarriages (I was late 30s) and we started the adoption process from China. Of course, I did get pregnant again and gave birth at 41 (great experience!). One year later our adoption came through for a daughter just 6 weeks younger than my birth daughter. They are "like twins" and 4 years older than their older brother. Although born in different continents, they act like twin sisters. Even though it wasn't our plan, we see now that my son needed those four years to have mom to himself. He is a great older brother to our twins and to their younger sister, also adopted from China, who is 2 years younger.
