Let Him breast feed. Mothers milk is absolutely the best for him. Both my son and daughter breastfed until they were 3 years old and still suckled until they were 4 years old. Introduce small amounts of food at a time. Also you could try milk with a little bit of honey. As long as you are taking care of your body he will not suffer from breastfeeding. It is strange but breast milk changes to accommodate the needs of the child. This is doctor proven.

I do agree with Pitviper that let him breast feed. Really mother's milk is absolutely the best food for your baby. The same situation is with my son, He is of 2 years now & don’t eat anything but he love to have breast feed! Try to feed him some other diets like banana, flavored yogurt, flavored milk etc.

I sense that you are becoming run down by the constant demand on your body. If that is the case, it wouldn't hurt to taper off on the breast feeding. At 26 months your child can be encouraged to eat more solid foods. I do agree that breast milk is the best food for a young child... but having a happy mommy is really very important as well.

You just keep on nursing!  That is awesome!

Have you ever thought of joining a breastfeeding support group?

Ok, breastfeeding is good but after a while it won't be enough, your baby's daily nutritional requirements increase with age, try to add some semi-solid food and juice to breast feeding and try to start gradual weaning.
