Hi I just wanted to clear something up whenever I ask questions or write Hubs about my kids a lot of the times it's a way I can vent. I appreciate everyone's input especially the criticitical truths.  At the time I may seem a little offended but that's just a reaction not a thought out response! However I just wanted to say thanks to all who ever take the time to give my writings a glance I totally appreciate it and so do my kids!  Very good advice has been given and taken so thank you all!

Being a parent can be difficult at times.  You cannot always be your children's friends.  You have to be the adult who sets the rules in order for your children to be educated, moral, and responsible contributors to society.  Your children may not like you at times; however, your duty as a parents is not to have a popularity contest with your children but to enable them to become moral, self-sufficient adults.
