hey, just wondering if there's anyone out there that is maybe a little further along in the adoption process? how did you decide what agency to use? are you searching for a birthmom on your own or getting help from a marketing agency? thanks
I am an identical twin and we are heading to Korea in a week to do the birth parent search. We aren't traveling through a "motherland" tour or anything- because we researched and felt they were too closed off and too American for the amount of money you pay. But we are going through our adoption agency - Children's Home Society. There are fees and you get a social worker, and its kind of time consuming. If you have more question, feel free to send me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
There are so many agencies out there, it is hard to pick just one. I advise you to do your own research on them. Then, I would select a couple and visit each sight. You would get a better understanding by personally talking to them. Best of luck!
