    - Be a blessing, for you are a blessing.
    - Be loving, for you are loved.
    - Be a role model, for you model great parenting.
One day your Moms will be gone. Take the time today to tell them how much you love them. I know I did, just now. I Miss you Mom.

As a young mother this means alot to me. I love my son with everything in my heart. I will always be there for him and My mother was that way to me, so he deserves the same love and devotion my mom showed to me.

You are one the right road Traci.. We hand that love down to the next generation, that's why it is so important to love our children.

Matherese, I hope you can share it with her. Mom's need to hear this sometimes. Taking the time out to show them that you care goes a long way.

Motherhood is far too UNDERvalued in western culture.
    I honour you mums/moms.
(Is it mother's day?) oh well, I don't have to wait for a special day to appreciate and honour them.

Not Mother's day, aka-dj, that is why it makes this so special. But for no reason at all just to say how much we appreciate and honor our moms.

      Yeah!
Maybe I'll start posting here more often
At least I'll be safe from Atheists derailing the topic.

      (Well, I hope so, anyway)

FaithDream, as a daughter who no longer has her mother, I agree.  As a daughter who is knows I felt about my mother, but who now also has grown kids of my own; I suspect most mothers know how their kids feel (whether or not they try to express it).

Thanks Lisa. We can understand. A mother holds a special place in our hearts. My mom passed away last summer. Her birthday is Saturday, so I thought I'd start a positive thread to honor all Moms out there.

FaithDream, sorry to know you lost your mother so recently (and it's still awfully recent).  Your thread is a nice way to honor your mother, as her birthday comes around.

Thank you Lisa. Your words of comfort have helped.
