When is the most appropriate time to start training a baby to use the potty. My baby is about 17 months old. Should I start now or wait for some couple of months?
Just stick him on the crapper and see if he'll do it. They make baby-sized plastic crappers. Get one. Start when you think he can possibly handle it and keep trying. Waiting has no benefit to you or him. Just don't be an a-hole about it or you'll only prolong misery for the both of you. Do it in a positive way. Make crapping fun!
There are certain signs to look for. Does your baby show any interest? Does he or she hide when going in their pullup? Does he or she tell you after going? With that said my daughter is 2 1/2 and still is not potty trained.

When is the best age to potty train a boy? I know girls do it earlier at about 2, but not sure when is best for boys. Also is it easier to do it during the summer or winter?
