I am glad your have written this article, as the carcinogenic subtypes of HPV are asymtomatic, and so regular pap smears are a very good idea. One need not be promiscuous to get this disease - but a promiscuous lifestyle, for that reason, is dangerous...and so, I may write my own artcile on that subject alone - and then reference this very important website. Did you know that 80 percent of women over fifty have this disease? I think, that sexual libertinsim has played some role in this (of both sexes,)

I don't necessarily want to encourage vaccination without stipulating that the protection is limited - does not protect
from warty types. And it may not protect from mutated strains. But in a libertine world, it may be necessary. Thanks - Gary
