Creamy Egg Custard Pie
My granny used to make this pie when I was a child. I loved eating her pies, especially this pie which was melt in your mouth kind of good. It is so good served with a dollup of whipped cream on the top.

Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 2 frozen pie shells
Directions
- Beat the 4 eggs together in a medium bowl.
- Add the sugar to the eggs and mix well.
- Then add the milk slowly while continuing to mix.
- Then add the vanilla and the nutmeg and mix well.
- Pour into the two pie shells and bake at 375 degrees until the mixture sets (about 20-25 minutes).
