Easy Vegan Fat Free Tomato Salad Dressing
Delicious Vegan Salad Dressing
You can make delicious fat free salad dressings without using oil or even vinegar. They can be just as tasty as any vinegar or oil based dressings. They also tastes fresher and much healthier than store bought, bottled salad dressings.
2 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon chopped shallot
1 Medjool date
¾ teaspoon sea salt
Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If you taste the dressing and feel it needs more of something such dates, sea salt or even shallot. Adjust the recipe to your liking, you might need to add a little bit of water to help with the blending process.
Note: You can use this dressing with any leafy green salad with cucumber and tomatoes or other salad combination. You can also use it as a dip for fresh cucumber, carrots or celery.
