30 Easy and Tasty Indian Rice Recipes

In majority of Indian Families Rice is eaten on a daily basis. It would not be an exaggeration if I say that in many Indian households rice consumed as breakfast, lunch or dinner. I consider myself as an expert when it comes to preparing Indian Rice recipes. I am especially a fan of these recipes using rice because I do not like spending too much time in the kitchen preparing food for the family on week days as I work too. I also absolutely hate to see rice being wasted. Since these recipes can also be made using left over rice I do not need to waste cooked rice.  

Though Rice can be eaten plain it needs at least 2-3 accompaniments. If you are a working lady making 2-3 curries or fry along with rice can be a tedious job. But fortunately rice does not have to always be eaten plain. There are numerous wonderful recipes which can be made using rice or left over rice which can be eaten alone or with papad, chutneys or raita as accompaniment without compromising on the taste and nutrition. What makes rice a wonderful choice of food is that it is easily digestible and free of fat, cholesterol and sodium.
