Aaloo Kanda Bhajia : Potato Onion Fries
Gram Flour – 3 cups
Water- 1 ½ cup
Garlic paste- ½ tsp
Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Red Chilli powder- 1 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Onion- 1 finely chopped
Potato – 1 finely chopped
Green chillies – 3 finely chopped
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch, finely chopped
Baking soda – 1 pinch
Salt – to taste
Oil for frying
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Add water as required and bind the batter well.
- Deep fry the pakoras in cooking sunflower oil.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup or with tamarind chutney.
- Enjoy the pakoras especially in the rainy season while playing cards or carrom in your home with family and friends while holidaying.
