Have you heard the term "Lilikoi" before?

These "lilikoi" cupcakes are sweet and tangy. Top them with the passion fruit pulp so that the cupcake is covered in a smooth, orange glaze that will make it look as delicious as it tastes.

Don't worry if you do not have any fresh lilikoi as you can use the canned pulp if it's out of season. If you read the comments below the recipe, you will see that those who made them with the canned pulp still found them delicious.

These cupcakes are great all year around. If you are trying to get rid of your Christmas candies, it's a great recipe. If you rid the recipe of candy canes, these make excellent peppermint cupcakes.

The photo above shows a baker's take on the cupcake. They added Hersey's white chocolate candy cane kisses, which are a great addition to the cupcake, especially with the white chocolate buttercream recipe you can find below.

How did you do the beautiful "rose" frosting? They are so pretty. I'd like to be able to do that. Did you use a bag to make the rose design? I wrote a Hub on how to make a cup cake tower to show off cupcakes. When you have the time, check it out. Great Hub, here.
