These rolls look like they take a significant amount of skill when they are presented, but are truly simple to make. If you can press, fill, and roll, you can make these delicious American sushi rolls in a matter of minutes.

Spicy Shrimp Sushi Roll Recipe

Needed Equipment:

  • Sushi Mat
  • Sharp Serrated Knife
  • 1 Gallon Freezer Bag
  • Glass Bowl
  • Cellophane Wrap

Ingredients:

  • Sushi Rice (prepared, one large handful)
  • Nori Sheet (1/2sheet)
  • Hass Avocado (1/4” slices to cover the length of the Nori)
  • Spicy Crab (prepared; about ¾ of a cup, the more the better)

Spicy Shrimp Mixture:

  • Salad Shrimp (1 cup rough chopped)
  • Srirachi hot sauce (to taste)
  • Mayonnaise (2 tbsp)
  • Masago (2 tsp)


Sushi Mark Presentation Tip: Use small square plates in jet black to give this American sushi roll dish an elegant Asian fusion cuisine effect.

This Sushi Roll looks fantastic. I have always wanted to make Sushi but for one reason or another I haven't made time for it. Now that I came across your recipe it might be the time!!
