Easter Appetizers Recipes For Parties
Don't Forget The Easter Appetizers
Sure there's always a yummy ham in the oven and stuffing and other great Easter Appetizers for dinner but when my family gets together for we like to munch ALL DAY on holiday appetizers! Vegetable Trays, Crackers, Chips and Salsa Deviled Egg's. You name it we've got the Easter appetizers laid out on the dining room table. I'm sure my family is not the only ones who do this with Easter appetizers so I'd like to share two Easter appetizers recipes that maybe some other "munchers" haven't yet tried. These Easter Appetizer recipes should both be made the same day as the holiday event. They will not taste near as good if they are prepared a day early.

Crab Cocktail Dip
- 1 8oz package of cream cheese
- 1 6oz. can of real crab meat
- 1 12oz jar of seafood cocktail sauce.
- A few boxes of Wheat Thins and/or Ritz Crackers
First in a flat dish with sides that are about 1 inch high spread the cream cheese out so that it is flat and about half an inch thick. Then pour on the cocktail sauce and spread so that it lays flat on top of the cream cheese. Don't go to thick with this but make sure you can not see any cream cheese. The last step is to sprinkle all the crab meat on top of the cocktail sauce. Serve with Wheat Thins or Ritz Crackers.
I prefer Wheat Thins with this one but many in my family would rather use Ritz. We just set a bunch of both on the table in a separate small bowl. If you get fresh crab instead of canned it tastes even better but we find it easier to just buy the can.
Easy Taco Dip Recipe
This taco dip recipe is so simple and it is so yummy. For appearances, get a glass square or round pie dish. You'll need the following ingredients. You can subsitute potato chips or tortilla chips instead of Dorito's or Frito's, but the flavor of the later seems to work even better with this easy taco dip recipe.
- 1 8 oz package of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
- 1/2 package of Lawry's or taco seasoning, or similar brand
- 1 cup of shredded lettuce
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 cup black olives
- 1/2 cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
- 1 bag of Doritos or Frito's Chips
Soften cream cheese in a bowl. Add taco seasoning and blend in. Spread seasoned cream cheese into glass dish evenly. Top with shredded lettuce, chopped onions, black olives, and chopped tomatoes. Sprinkle cheese lightly over the top. Put chips in a dish on the side. This easy taco dip recipe will be a huge hit. Guaranteed.
