Ask DJ Lyons: How to make Fresh Frozen Fruit Delight
Fresh Frozen Fruit Delight with Strawberries and Raspberries
You can use any kind of fresh frozen fruit to make this. Using strawberries and raspberries is one of my favorite combinations. I also love it best when it is still icy cold.
Step 1 - Place fresh frozen Strawberries in your food processor
You can use any kind of food processor. My particular "kitchen toy" is called a Ninja Master Prep that came with a large pitcher and a small container. I use the smaller container when making this particular recipe.
Step 2 - Place fresh frozen Raspberries in your food processor
Next, I added the fresh frozen raspberries.
Sometimes, I add other fruit as well like fresh frozen peaches, mangoes, blueberries, and cherries.
Step 3 - Put the pulser on your Ninja Master Prep
It is now time to chop up your fruit using your food processor. In my case, I put the pulser on top of the unit and plug it in.
Step 4 - Pulse the frozen fruit until it is chopped up in tiny pieces
I pulse several times until the fruit is chopped up into tiny pieces.
Step 5 - Use a spatula to push down the fruit from the sides of the Ninja Master Prep
Use a spatula to push down the fruit from the sides of the unit. Use the spatula to get all the fruit off the blades. Finally, use the spatula to get the fruit from the crevices of the lid.
Step 6 - Your Fresh Frozen Fruit Delight is ready to eat
Frequently, I eat the fruit while still in the Ninja Master Prep. For purposes of this hub, I transferred the fruit to a bowl.
It is now time to eat and enjoy. Yum! This is a very tasty treat that I eat in the morning as part of my breakfast.
