Banana & nuts Muffins



Ingredients for the muffins

• one cup All purpose wheat flour

• 1/4 cup nuts( Cashew almonds&walnuts)thinly chopped one banana smashed evenly

• 1/4 cup Sugar powder

• 4 tablespoon white Butter

• half tsp Baking powder

• half tsp Baking soda

• 1/4 cup Milk(may add more if the batter seems thick)

• one tsp vanilla essence

Method to make the muffins:--

Mix all the dry ingredients together -they are flour, baking soda and baking powder.(keep it aside)
Mix all wet ingredients together such as -blend butter and sugar first ,to it add the smashed and smoothed banana, vanilla essence and then add milk.
Now add flour little at a time and mix well until all has been added . If the batter seems to be too tight or thick,add some more milk as required.
Place the muffin cups in the tray or muffin cake pan,slowly pour the mixture 3/4 of each cup leaving some space for muffins to expand
you may sprinkle some choco chips on the top.(can use a chocolate bar and grate it over the muffins before baking them .
Bake it in a preheated oven at 350* F for about 30 minutes or more till the muffins turn brown
take them out and let them cool down then slowly remove them from the cups .

note-we can make muffins in a pre heated pressure cooker if we do not have oven at home just place a round ring inside the cooker and place the muffin cups on a tray on the ring place the lid without the weight and let it be baked on medium flame .even cakes could be made in the same way in the pressure cookers
