Wine Making At Home.
It was a surprise to me to read in the News papers that the Wine Merchants,Grape Growers are now taking wine culture seriously. The enthusiasm shown in three days show near the stalls of Glass House Lalbagh the right place but the stalls Constructed like cottage handicraft stalls showed what quality of wines we could get there. The people could hardly could take a classic view of the varieties of wines. The persons selling the wines in Red Shirts and badly dressed ladies made a poor show and showed no respect to the product they were marketing.Wine Bottles were sold like Beer bottles and packed in plastic bags of such poor strength that the bottles I purchased put in plastic bag like vegetables would drop down on the ground.I had to carry the bag like a baby.
Marketing of Wine or selling them needs a different approach. The stalls must have the standard furniture and even lounges to drink in a air condition room with food that goes with wine.Selling Wine like footpath prepared Chilly - Raw Banana - Onion and potato Bajji is not going to give a good impression to visitors who were there from different parts of India, represented by young boys and girls from Assam,Manipur,Nagaland and West Bengal who will carry a poor impression on our show.We Bangalore people don't mind push and squeeze in the Mela that has been our culture even in boarding a bus or entering a train. This is a Global City and our boys mist show some dignity in places like Wine Fest.
The Organizers on the other hand must not hesitate to present the ambiance with good furniture and a lounge air-conditioned to serve their wines along with food it wood have been a big hit, there was plenty of space but god knows if these wine makers have come from arrack mafia to showcase their products which were packed in good standard bottles looking quite impressive.
Let us hope the Govt of Karnataka will give full support for this industry as it will definately bring good name if there is push without politics.

Hosur and Krishnagiri are close to each other but the place Krishnagiri has very good land scape and looks better than Hosur from the National High Way as you go east towords Channai.Visit this temple.
