3 Ingredients, 5 Minutes, 1 Decadent Dessert!
It's so simple! And it is the absolute best-ever dessert for those throw together, last-minute, trying to feed the baby and cook dinner at the same time kind of meals.
I am a big proponent of tried and true recipes because I haven't much time to spare on experimentation and...well...I'm not very creative either.
This recipe is so simple and so delicious that you will find yourself making it again and again. It will become a staple in your family and will be a no-brainer for Christmas Dainty Trays, afternoon candle parties, and for those rainy days that keep everyone in a state of gloom. Get ready to lose yourself in decadence that takes only minutes to prepare.
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips (reese's peanut butter chips makes the best)
1/2 cup almonds.
1. Bring water to a boil in double-boiler. If you don't have a double-boiler, you can also just melt the chips in a heavy bottom pot on low heat, stirring constantly so as not to burn the chips.
2. Dump chocolate and peanut butter chips in pot and mix together until creamy smooth.
3. Once mixture is smooth, dump in almonds and mix together till almonds are coated.
4. Spread thinly (or whatever thickness you want it) onto wax-papered pan.
5. Put in fridge.
6. When cooled, break into brittle pieces and enjoy!
Simple As That!
I told you it was easy...and so yummy! Trust me, once you make it once, you will never be able to resist making it again. Try it today!
Tips For Making It Special
Not only can you make this dessert quickly, you can also add some imagination to it if you want. For those who don't like almonds, you can substitute them for peanuts or cashews, or raisins, or cranberries. Whatever your heart desires, because it will still taste good.
You can also turn it into a house-warming or Christmas gift by buying a one-dollar tin at dollarama and filling it with the chocolate wrapped in cellophane.
There is nothing easier. And it will make people's eyes roll back in ecstasy every time they take a bite. I guarantee it!
