Birmingham Farmer's Market, July 18, 2010
Here are some photos of the babies, children, dogs, musician, vendors, parents and politicians taken at our usual Sunday visit to pick up our weekly ration of vegetables from Bluewater Organics. I resisted the temptation to have a chair massage. However, I did treat myself to a bratwurst from Frank's Anatra!
Today we were treated to the smooth jazz vocals and instrumentals of Detroit musician Tola Lewis. Click on the link below and you can get a sample of her stuff.
I also had an interesting conversation with Dave Potts who is running for re-election to the Oakland County Board of Commissioners. Although Dave is a Republican and I'm a Democrat, we share admiration for William Milliken and neither of us likes the current adversarialism of U.S. and Michigan politics. And we both share a concern over the economy of Oakland County and southeastern Michigan.
As usual, there were plenty of photo-ops of babies, dogs and attractive women. Take a look of some of my pictures below.
