Wake Up To Sweet and Fruity

A light breakfast meal satiating your cravings for sweet and fruity. This is a breakfast bread that can be prepared in 15 minutes and baked for less than 30 minutes. A sure homemade baked good that is moist and delicious. Enjoy.

Recipe for Blueberry Banana Bran Breakfast Bread

Wheat Bran
2 cups
Put the bran, sugar and shortening in mixer..
Ripe Bananas
2 each
Use a paddle to mix. Add the ripe bananas and paddle to mash the bananas.
2 cups
Add the blueberries.
1/4 cup
Pour the hot water and paddle the mixture to incorporate.
Granulated Sugar
3/4 cup
Put the flour, baking powder and baking soda and salt and stir in separate bowl.
Hot Water
3/4 cup
Add the flour mixture gradually to incorporate.
Fresh eggs
2 each
Pour the breakfast bread mixture into pre-buttered loaf pans.
All Purpose Flour
3 cups
Bake in preheated 350 degree oven.
Baking Powder
1 Tablepoons and 1 teaspoon
Bake till top is brown or when toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Kosher Salt
1 Teaspoon
When done baking, let loaves sit in pan for 10 minutes before removing.
Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon
Remove from pans to cool. Serve.
Wrap when cool. Can be frozen.
