I love baking and trying out new recipes. Lately I have been working on different cookies for the kids. Some of them they really like while others, not so much. Right now my kids are really into cookies and bars with butterscotch in them. So here are two of the winning recipes that my children absolutely love and ask for over and over again.
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3 ½ Cups Flour
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
2 Teaspoons Cream of Tarter
1 ½ Cups Butterscotch Chips
Heat oven to 350. Mix first four ingredients together in a large bowl until blended. Beat eggs and add to mixture. In separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and cream of tarter slowly add to wet mixture. Mix until blended. Slowly stir in butterscotch chips. Drop heaping teaspoon of dough onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
