Easy recipe

Hello fellow Hubbers. I thought I might share another recipe with you. This recipe is for Chicken Meatballs. It is very simple and maybe takes all of twenty minutes to make. If you make this, I hope the recipe turns out well for you!

Ingredients:

1. One pound ground chicken

2. 1 tsp. of each- cinnamon, turmeric, black pepper, Tabasco sauce, ginger paste and garlic paste

3. Cooking oil- for light frying of meatballs.

Preparation:

In a medium sized bowl, combine spices and ground chicken. Mix well to get the spices mixed into the chicken. Heat a medium sized skillet on high heat. Then add oil and let it heat.

As the oil is heating, use a tablespoon to spoon out lumps of chicken. You can shape them into balls with your hands by taking the chicken and gently rolling each tablespoon sized chunk of meat between your palms. Then drop each ball into the pan and turn heat to medium. Cover the pan. After a couple of minutes, turn meatballs over and cover pan again. when the meatballs have been cooked properly, they should be brown-dark brown in color.

Layer a plate with three to four paper towels. Take the cooked meatballs out of the pan and place them on these paper towels. This process helps to drain out any excess oil from the meatballs.

You can serve this with spaghetti and spaghetti sauce or just eat them as a snack.

Serves: About 6-8 people.

As always, comments, thoughts and ideas are greatly welcomed!

Hi rlaha.

Nice hub.

My wife makes these meat balls and sometimes she makes them as a pattie about 4 inches in dia and about half an inch thick.

Whichever way she makes them they don't last to long.

LOL Ghaelach

Tasty. I got meatballs at sunday, but they were mix - ground veal and pork (40/60%).

Best food for quick preparation at home.

Hi m0rd0r: I just made some more of the chicken meatballs for lunch. They are all gone! My husband came home and ate almost all of them. I asked him to save me some, but then as I was making lunch I was eating them too. So there are no more.

I have ground turkey too, so I might try this with ground turkey sometime. I will put up the recipe after I have tried to see if they come out the same way.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I will have to give this a try. It looks like a yummy and healthy alternative to beef. Very cool!

Hi Tammyswallow! These are actually just as tasty or even tastier than the beef meatballs. Good luck and I hope they turn out well for you. Thanks for stopping by! :)
