Chocolate Covered Pretzels

A very decadant snack. Sometimes, you just have to treat yourself, and others too!
2 bags chocolate chips (dark or milk chocolate)
1 bag pretzels (twists or sticks)
Optional decorations: chopped nuts, sprinkles, toasted coconut, crushed graham wafers
Line cookie sheets with wax or parchment paper.
In a double boiler, melt chocolate over medium heat. While chocolate is warm and melted, dip the pretzels in the chocolate. If there is excess chocolate, allow it to drip off. While chocolate is soft, decorate with nuts, sprinkles, toasted coconut or crushed graham wafers. Allow chocolate to harden. If it is warm in the room, you can place the sheet in the refrigerator to help the choclate harden. After the chocolate has hardened, remove from the cookie sheet and place in an airtight container. Store in a cool place (mind you, they won't last long...)
