Chocolate Honey Bourbon
4 cups milk
2 vanilla beans or 2 tsp. vanilla
4 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup honey-bourbon liqueur, or bourbon
1 tbsp honey (optional)
In a large saucepan heat milk just to simmering. Meanwhile, if using vanilla beans, split beans kengthwise. Scrape out seeds. (this is the tastiest) Remove milk from heat; add beans and seeds. Let stand, covered for 10 minutes.
2. Add chocolate to milk mixture, return to low heat, stirring or whisking until chocolate is melted and milk misture is hot. whisk in liqueur and (if using) vanilla and honey. serve Immediately. Makes 4 servings...
