Flavors

  • Lemonade
  • Limeade Cherry
  • Orangeade

There are others but i have only indulged in these ones that come in a cup size serving. They are delicious, but the lemonade is still number one, with limeade cherry coming a close second.

My choices could be because i love tarty and tangy on hot days.

Soft frozen ingredients:

  • 11% lemon juice
  • no fat
  • lots of sugar, corn syrup and sweeteners, making it high carbs
  • turmeric (for color)
  • + other natural flavors

A variety of frozen treats:

  • soft serve, ice cream, sorbets, sherbet
  • frozen yogurt
  • Popsicles on a stick or in a tube
  • Italian ice's, gelato
  • Frozen drinks

Best places to get them:

  • Festivals
  • Fairs
  • Picnics
  • beach
  • Parks
  • Ball games, baseball, football, etc

Any outdoor activity is a great place to serve up these excellent treats that cool off the body and combat the heat of a beautiful summer day.

My most memorable experience of a Minute Maid Soft Frozen Lemonade was amazing. I had spent several hours at the Renaissance Fair in Georgia. I love the Renaissance period for all the obvious reasons, it is romantic. But i fear we have allowed ourselves to take the best of that period and combined it with commercialism.

Which means we have the fantasy aspect of the period rather than the truth.

But i love it! I have digressed...

Anyway, the soft frozen lemonade was on my list of treats, by the time i was leaving i had started to develop one of my dreaded heat induced migraine headaches, from being out too long in the heat, enjoying myself.

I bought my soft frozen lemonade in hopes that more than anything it would quickly cool me down but also help relieve me of the onset of the pesky migraine.

It did! I was more than thrilled, as i partook of my cold treat. Loving the coolness of the soft icy treat in my mouth and floating down my throat.

OMG!

So from that time, i have made it my business to enjoy several flavors of this soft frozen treat, especially on hot days of the summer. Living in Georgia gives me the opportunity to take full advantage of this product and believe you-me, i do with every chance that presents itself.

So i endorse it as one of the most enjoyable and refreshing things i have ever indulged in on a hot summer's day.

Interesting facts:

  • 1st soft frozen lemonade was created for the 1996 Summer Olympics, held in Atlanta, Georgia
  • these are made with the most purified water available through a process known as the Multi barrier Ultra Filtration system
  • 1st historical references to lemonade was an Egyptian concoction made with honey
  • lemon means, "golden apple".
