Where Did Those Quesadillas Come From?

In case you don't know quesadillas were first made and served in colonial Mexico. The quesadilla has changed and evolved over the years. In the United States quesadillas are served as appetizers. And they are made many different ways. There really is no hard and fast rule for what goes on a quesadilla or what doesn't.

You can also come up with some ideals of your own and make.

More Great Chicken Information

Lite Bite Money Saving Tip

You may not know it but chicken thighs have a lot more flavor than chicken breasts and you can buy chicken thighs for about a third the cost of chicken breasts. Removing the skin from chicken before cooking decreases the fat content. To quickly remove the skin from uncooked chicken parts, grasp the skin with a paper towel so it doesn't slip out of your fingers, and gently tug until the skin pulls away and seperates from the meat.

You can use chicken thighs in the recipe above and I think you'll find that they will be oh so delicious.

Safety Tips

You should never thaw packages of chicken in the sink or out on the counter. Bacteria thrive at room temperature. Always thaw your packages of chicken on a tray or in a baking pan on the lowest shelf in your refrigerator.

Bleach Solution

You can make a great sanitizing soulution from one quart of bleach added to three quarts of water. Put it in a spray bottle and use it to clean up after you work with chicken.

Home From The Market

When you come home from the market always freeze your chicken as soon as you come home unless your going to use it with in 24 hours. If your going to use the chicken with in 24 hours store it on a tray or on a baking pan on the lowest shelf in your refrigerator.
