Recipe For a Crock Pot Dessert

The Dessert

Easy To Make

Yes, finally I have a dessert recipe for the crock pot. My mom-in-love sent me this tasty treat recipe with a high recommendation. She called it CROCK POT PEANUT CLUSTERS. You will need one 16 oz. jar of dry roasted unsalted peanuts. In addition, the recipe calls for one 16 oz. jar of salted peanuts. Add a 12 oz. packet of semi sweet chocolate chips, a 4 oz. bar of German Chocolate, broken into pieces, and a 3 lb. or 48 oz. white baking bar, broken into pieces.

Put all of the ingredients into the crock pot in the order given. DO NOT STIR IT. Cover and cook your ingredients on LOW for three hours. Leave the lid in place, do not remove it, while you are cooking. After three hours, turn off the crock pot and stir. Mix thoroughly and drop by the teaspoon onto waxed paper. Let them cool and they are ready to eat. I think I just gained a pound while typing the ingredients.

I would never have thought of making a dessert in a crock pot - interesting.

Pamela, I am convinced that we have to try new things to keep the cooking interesting. Rote creates boredom and then I don't want to cook. Here's to having fun while we do life!

Interesting - I made a crockpot bread pudding not too long ago - I think it was enough to feed a small army, though!
