Make Chicken Curry in a Slow Cooker
If you love the smell and taste of chicken curry, but haven't been successful cooking it, try this easy recipe to make chicken curry in a crock pot.
4-5 skinless chicken thighs
1 12oz. jar garden salsa (spicy or mild)
1 chopped onion
1 clove garlic chopped
1 cup plain yogurt (optional)
1 Tb. curry powder
Put the onion in the bottom of the Crock Pot with 1 Tb. of oil.
Salt the chicken thighs. You can de-bone them, or leave the bones in if you don't mind them.
Place the chicken the Crock Pot on top of the onions.
Top the chicken with the jar of salsa (I know this sounds strange, but the result is delicious).
Add garlic and curry powder.
Cook on low for 6-hours.
When it is done, add one cup of plain yogurt to make the curry creamy or skip it and eat it as is.
Serve over rice.
