Cheeseburger Pie Recipe

I love to cook with ground beef especially if it produces a tasty delicious dish like this cheeseburger pie. Because this cheeseburger pie is one of the most delicious dishes you will ever eat and its really easy to make also.

Hamburger meat is one of the cheaper ways to go if your trying to save on your grocery bills. You can quite often even find hamburger meat marked down or get it at a real buy by purchasing it in a large family size package and break it down into smaller packages for your freezer when you get home from the supermarket.

For your Cheeseburger Pie Recipe You Will Need.

1. One 9 Inch Pie Crust in the tin foil pan.

2. One Pound Hamburger.

3. 1/2 Cup Purple Sweet Onion diced up very fine.

4. 1/2 Pound Bacon diced up into very small pieces.

5. Two Large Eggs.

6. One Teaspoon Salt.

7. One Teaspoon Black Pepper.

8. One 4 Oz. Container Pimento Pepper.

9. One Teaspoon Fresh Minced Garlic.

10. Eight Ounces Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

First of all you will want to place your hamburger meat , diced up bacon , your onion and your garlic in a skillet and cook until your hamburger meat is well browned. Once your hamburger meat is well browned drain your mixture very well.

Now place everything but your cheddar cheese into a bowl and mix very well. Beat your eggs very well before you add them to the bowl. Now take a knife and cut small slits all over the bottom of your pie shell. Pour your mixture into the pie shell and push down with a spoon to pack your mixture into the pie shell well. Now add the cheddar cheese to the top of the mixture.

Now you want to set your filled pie shell into a larger baking pan and place it into a 350 degree preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. Check often near the end of your cooking time to make sure your Cheeseburger Pie does not burn.

Remove from the oven and allow to set for 30 minutes before you slice and serve. This cheeseburger pie is delicious served with a green salad. The bacon really gives it a extra special flavor. Serve with a tossed salad and garlic bread for a great meal.

I have always used ground sea salt. It does not give the salty taste regular table salt does. But by all means leave out the salt even. It can be salted at the table.

I suggest not adding the salt. The bacon and the pie crust have enough salt. Made it today and if it wasn't for the taste of too much salt it would have been perfect.

I have a quick question! Do you use frozen pie crust or the ready to go ones? Thank you...sounds delicious!

Delicious and easy to make. A great use of hamburger that adds something to this basically plain but lovable meat. Your picture is great (you might want to add sliced tomato in your recipe). thanks for this easy to make recipe.
