Easy and delicious roasted pumpkin seeds!
Roasting pumpkin seeds is super easy with this recipe, and they turn out delicious every time!
The hardest part is keeping little fingers off the seeds until they are ready to be eaten! This is a great fall favorite recipe to do with your kids after carving pumpkins! No sense, in throwing out the seeds when they can be used for a great healthy, crunchy, snack!

- 1 1/2 to 2 cups raw pumpkin seeds, rinsed & washed
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
- 1-3 pinches sea salt

Roast your seeds!
- Carve your pumpkins and gather their seeds!
- Measure 1-2 cups of fresh raw seeds, and rinse them well in a colander with cold water. Take your time to remove all the slime! Once this is done, towel dry them and put them in a bowl. Set your over to 300
- Melt 3 tablespoons of butter, and pour the melted butter over the seeds in the bowl. Mix well, making sure the seeds get nice and covered with the butter.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt in the bowl and mix that in too.
- On a flat baking sheet, place a piece of tin foil, and evenly spread your seeds on the foil. Sprinkle again with a few more pinches of sea salt.
- Bake in your over at 300 for 45 minutes, toss occasionally. The seeds are done when golden brown and crunchy! Enjoy!
