Best Mushroom Swiss Burger
When you're limited on time a mushroom swiss burger makes a good choice instead of the usual boring old burger.
One of the nicest things about this recipe is that you can make a fast and easy meal using just a few ingredients that you most likely already have in your refrigerator or pantry.
During the hot summer months when you don't want to heat up the kitchen fast and easy recipes are a must. But at the same-time you don't want to compromise flavor and just settle on a cold and boring sandwich, which can get old pretty fast.
I've tried out quite a few mushroom and swiss burger recipes and for me this is the one that came out tasting the best
1.5 " Lean ground beef
8 0z. Fresh mushrooms - thinly sliced
1 Pkg. Brown gravy mix
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
First patty the hamburgers and slice the mushrooms. Then while the hamburgers are cooking (either frying or grilling). Make the gravy mix according to the directions on the package. Add the sliced mushrooms and Worcestershire sauce to the gravy and cook until the gravy has thickened. Then assemble your burgers and top each one with a spoonful or two of the mushroom gravy along with a slice of swiss cheese on top.
