Gluten-free marshmallow squares

My son has food allergies and when we found out the only gluten free cereal he could have was Rice Chex we replaced the rice crispies with rice chex. Because he can't have butter either we replaced that with oil. Here is our gluten-free inspired recipe.
Thing's that you will need:
4 1/2 cups of Rice Chex
1 10oz. bag of marshmallows
2 1/2 tbs. of canola oil
1/4 cup of brown sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp of cinnamon (optional)
13x9 pan lightly oiled (so nothing sticks)
in a large sauce pan melt oil and marshmallows together
put in the brown sugar and cinnamon as well (optional)
once it is mixed and melted thoroughly pour over Rice Chex and coat evenly
put it in the 13x9 pan and cover with wax paper, press firmly but be sure not too hard you don't want to smash it.
I usually let it sit for at least 10 minutes then cut to desired sizes
you could add sprinkles as well
