Country Kitchen

I found this really good southern country food restaurant in Marietta. It’s called The Country Kitchen. It is run by an older oriental lady named Sue that treats every customer like family. They have different meats and vegetables every day, but I’ve never been there that they didn’t have something available to hit the spot.

It’s a buffet style restaurant, but not all you can eat, although trust me when I say you will leave slap full. Every time I go there, I have to tell Sue too much, because she just packs the food on your plate big time. She always has excellent vegetables with a very fresh taste.

They also have a killer $2.99 complete home cooked breakfast with all kinds of biscuits like sausage, bacon etc. They stop serving breakfast at 10:30 or until all the biscuits are gone. They also have excellent sweet tea with lemon which is a must for me.

There hours are:
Monday thru Thursday 7:30am to 8:00pm
Friday 7:30 to 9:30, and
Saturday from 9:30 to 6:30
Sunday – Closed

They also serve Fish dinners, hamburgers, French fries etc…

Their address is 2467 Windy Hill Rd.Marietta, Ga.30067 (770) 937-9924

Getting there: (Less than 2 minutes from I-75 & Windy Hill)

If you’re traveling north on I-75 Exit Windy Hill Rd., and turn left, you will go about less than two miles, and the restaurant will be on your right hand side in a little strip shopping center almost directly across the street from a Honda dealership. When you pass Chick- Fil-A on your right, slow down, its just a few hundred yards on your right from the Chick-Fil-A If you get to Cobb Parkway, you passed it.
